Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Yes, he accepted an invitation, as it sounded very pleasant. At first he was shocked at how abruptly he appeared in the game, but once making some new friends and finding old ones, he'll settle in much easier.
Will they need any special accommodations upon arrival? He'll need a bed with a large heating lamp over it, what with him being a giant reptile.

Character's History: Once a timid, reclusive inventor named Pendleton in 1888 London, he witnessed a young woman get murdered outside his window one day and did nothing. The murderer he saw went on to kill five more women, and Pendleton's inaction, along with his own guilt, condemned his soul to Hell once he died. In Hell he became a snake-like demon covered in eyes, symbolic of being a 'cowardly snake' who stood at the side and watched as injustice occurred.

He wholeheartedly believed that this was a fate he deserved, so he took on the name Sir Pentious, and for over a century he attempted to become a dastardly villain. Unfortunately villainy didn't come easy to Sir Pentious. Like... at all. Every attempt at evil ended in spectacular failure, due to him being far too bumbling and pathetic to be menacing.

At some point during his time in Hell, Pentious met and started a partnership with a fellow sinner named Baxter. While working as lab partners, Baxter created a small handful of short sentient egg men, who the two sinners used as their minions.

The duo shared more of their deadly creations with the rest of Hell in order to win the favor of Hell's overlords (high ranking sinners in Hell's hierarchy), but sadly for Pentious, only Baxtor's work impressed them. That didn't put an end to their partnership, however. What did was Baxter's treatment of their minions. Baxter saw the eggs as disposable guinea pigs, whereas Pentious had grown to care for them, treating them more like children. When Baxter’s experiments on the eggs became lethal, Pentious stood up to him and tearfully left with the remaining eggs.

Another way Pentious attempted to rise in the ranks was by claiming unoccupied territory in Pentagram City (the part of Hell which houses all the sinners). He did so with the aid of the egg minions and his main weapon, a large laser firing zeppelin. But another sinner, a brass arsonist named Cherri Bomb, also desired unclaimed territory, so the two would often engage in explosive turf wars (which Pentious lost every time).

At first the battles against Cherri frustrated Pentious to no end. The more he fought her though, the more he begrudgingly came to respect her as his archenemies. He was impressed by her homemade bombs, as well as her confidence and fearless attitude. That respect slowly evolved into romantic attraction.

Fate eventually led Sir Pentious to the Hazbin Hotel, a place in Pentagram City where sinners could attempt to change for the better in order to redeem their souls. It had recently been founded by Charlie Morningstar, the cheerful princess of Hell.

Pentious, desperate to impress a popular group of overlords called the Vees, pretended to join in order to spy on the hotel for them. Unsurprisingly though, Sir Pentious was just as bad at being a spy as he was at being a villain, and was discovered almost immediately. He tried to call Vox, the ruthless leader of the Vees, for help, but Vox callously abandoned him, urging him to either let the hotel staff kill him or end his life himself for being so useless.

Thoroughly crushed, Pentious accepted his fate, but to his surprise, Charlie reached a hand out to him in compassion. She was willing to forgive him and give him the chance to become a guest at the hotel for real this time, encouraging him to start his life anew. Charlie's kindness moved him so much, that he decided to give redemption an earnest try.

Once onboard, he began making genuine friends for the first time. After surviving for years in Hell's cutthroat environment, plus his falling out with Baxter, Pentious had become very distrustful of others. But luckily his growing camaraderie with his new friends at the hotel helped restore his faith in other people.

Sadly things weren't peaceful for long. The exorcists, an army of angels sent from Heaven to exterminate sinners, decided to attack the hotel. Their sadistic leader, Adam, wanted to put a stop to Charlie's goal of reforming sinners.

The residents of the hotel, along with Cherri Bomb, banded together to fight back, but Adam's strength had them overwhelmed.

Sir Pentious then made a bold decision. Not wanting to stand at the side and do nothing the way he had in life, he tried to face off against Adam by himself in order to protect his new friends and Cherri. But right before boarding his zeppelin to face Adam, he confessed to Cherri his feelings for her, knowing he may very well never get another chance to.

He was right, unfortunately, as Adam killed him instantly. But miraculously, instead of dying for good, Sir Pentious' act of bravery and sacrifice caused him to atone for his sin of inaction in life, and he became the first sinner in history to be redeemed and sent to Heaven.

His arrival caused panic and confusion among the angels in charge, who had not known redemption was possible. It was only after standing trail that he proved he had made it into Heaven fairly.

While the perky seraphim, Emily, was happy to befriend him, Pentious couldn’t enjoy his new home due to how much he missed his friends back in Hell. He felt heartbroken, isolated and lonelier than ever. Making matters worse was the fact that his minions hadn't survived with him. Emily creating golden replacement eggs helped comfort him, but only a little.

Pentious also lamented being separated from Cherri Bomb. He mourned the fact that any budding relationship between them had now become impossible thanks to how far apart they were.

Meanwhile Sera, the elder, more somber seraphim, was devastated. Sera had been the one to order the exterminations in the first place, but Pentious' accession meant that her actions, while done to protect Heaven from a potential uprising, resulted in the slaying of souls that could have also been redeemed.

Pentious, seeing Sera wracked with guilt, reached out a hand in compassion to her, much like Charlie had done so for him back when he'd first joined her hotel. He could relate to the guilt Sera was feeling, and shared with her the lessons Charlie had once taught him. This resulted in Sera resolving to amend her mistakes, end the exterminations for good, and to try establishing peace with Hell.

Working together with Baxter again (who was now residing at the Hazbin Hotel), Pentious was able to broadcast a video of himself across Hell in order to prove Charlie’s goal of redemption is indeed possible. This led to many sinners finally giving the hotel a chance, joining in earnest to save their souls.

After reconnecting with his friends again, Pentious has started to feel more at ease in Heaven. He even buried the hatchet with Baxter, and started a long distance relationship with Cherri Bomb. After well over a century of embarrassing failure at trying to be a villain in Hell, Pentious’ afterlife has made a complete 180, and honestly? Despite still missing Hell a bit, Pentious is pretty content.

Character's Personality: The best way to describe Sir Pentious is theater kid meets sad clown. Back in Hell he was a pompous, flamboyant try-hard, but even then it was pretty easy to tell it was all a facade. In reality he's an insecure man deep down, who desperately just wants to have friends.

Since his redemption, he's become a considerably kinder soul. Though he can still be prideful when it comes to his genius at building all manner of machines, at his core he's a compassionate and polite person. Especially towards those he considers friends. He's also extremely emotional, being easily moved to tears at any given moment (whether they be sad tears or happy tears).

Sir Pentious isn't the bravest soul. It's pretty easy to startle or intimidate him. But despite his fear in most situations, his regret over being a passive coward in life has nowadays made him more willing to stand up for what he feels is right (though he'll definitely still be trembling the entire time).

Being a recluse from the victorian era, Pentious' manners are rather stuffy and old fashioned. He's also a huge romantic at heart, but terribly awkward around his crush, Cherri Bomb.

Also... his top hat is alive. No one but Pentious knows for sure if it's a separate being, or if it's a an extension of Pentious' own psyche. Either way, it prevents him from having a poker face. Whatever emotion he truly feels inside, the hat reflects it.

Character Abilities: Pentious is not at all an adept fighter. He's built like a weak twig attached to an even weaker pool noodle. Given the right materials though, he can build very steampunk styled weapons and machines. His laser gun and giant zeppelin for example. Other abilities include:

- Hypnosis (Though it's very weak. The most it can do is temporarily stun enemies.)
- Venomous bite (Which he only ever uses as a last resort, as it gives him a headache afterwards.)
- Flight, thanks his new angel wings
- Baking cookies and brewing a scrumptious cup of tea
